United States: Nasdaq Composite Index closed virtually unchanged at + 0.08% on Wednesday, June 1, 2016

NEW YORK, June 01, 2016 (ADVNEWS) - The Nasdaq Composite, the main index of electronic stock exchange shares of NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) closed the trading session on Wednesday quoted at 4952.25 points - an increase of + 0.08% over the previous trading session.

                

NASDAQ is a fully automated stock market, which are listed more than 3,000 shares of different companies, mostly small and medium capitalization. It is the second largest stock market by market capitalization in the world after the New York Stock Exchange.

The Nasdaq Composite is the main benchmark of the market, characterized by gathering high-tech companies in electronics, IT, telecommunications and biotechnology. This index is made up of more than three thousand assets, weighted according to their market capitalization values.
