Toronto - The BlackBerry had a 35% drop in revenue for the first fiscal quarter, ending the period with the third quarterly loss followed, in the midst of a costly restructuring that had to reduce the value of some of its assets.
The Canadian company had a net loss of $ 670 million, or $ 1.28 per share, and 424 million revenue.
A year earlier, the company had profit of $ 68 million, or $ 0.10 per paper with 658 million revenue.
Excluding non-recurring items, the BlackBerry had profit of $ 14 million.
