                 Nestlé

São Paulo - Nestlé will have a new CEO from 2017. Ulf Mark Schneider, who is CEO of Fresenius Group since 2003, was chosen unanimously by the board of directors.

The German group provides products and services to the healthcare industry, such as equipment for dialysis and for hospitals. Today, the group has 220,000 employees in more than 100 countries and sales of 28 billion euros.

Already Nestle, where he will start working from September 2016, has sales of 88.8 billion Swiss francs, about 81.66 billion euros and 335,000 employees.

Your statement that shows a company's inclination to your health division, happens because of a game of musical chairs.

The current chairman of the Nestlé board of directors will retire from next year.

After 50 years working at Nestlé, 11 of them as CEO, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe will leave the company at the end of the year. The election of a new chairman will occur in April 2017.

In its place, the council launched the candidacy of Paul Bulcke, current CEO of the company, to compete for the post.

He's CEO since 2008 and in those years, "the company experienced growth above the industry level and has made great strides in its quest to become a leader in nutrition, health and wellness," she said in a statement.

As the CEO was then vacant, the council voted on the appointment of Schneider.
