New York, 24 June 2016 (AFP) - Wall Street suffered a sharp drop at the opening on Friday before the panic of the markets for the output of the United Kingdom of the European Union.
The Dow Jones had losses of 2.16 and the Nasdaq 3.78%.
Wall Street closed higher on Thursday due to the then optimism about the permanence of the UK in the EU: the Dow Jones rose 1.29% and the Nasdaq 1.59%
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 230.24 points, to 18011.07 units (its highest price in almost two months), the Nasdaq was up 76.72 points, to 4910.04 units. The S & P 500 index rose 27.87 points (1.34%) to 2,113.32 units.
