São Paulo - Taco Bell, the largest network of Mexican food restaurants in the world, today announced that it will land in Brazil.
The first three company stores should be opened by next semester, in São Paulo.
The coming of the chain of fast American food for the country is part of an agreement with Sforza, manager of the entrepreneur Carlos Wizard Martins, who will act as franchised.
The goal is to open 25 units of the brand here in the next four years, an investment of 100 million reais.
"The fast food industry has an average growth of 12% per year in the country, even in an adverse economic scenario. We want to replicate here the same position of leadership that Taco Bell has in the United States and in other countries, "said Wizard in a statement.
The eateries will be located in shopping centers and on the street and have between 60 and 120 square meters.
They offer most of the products that are successful sales in the United States, with a "light adaptation:" to the food culture of Brazil.
The operations of the first stores in São Paulo are being led by Michel Chaim.
The Sforza already operates retail companies with Mundo Verde, natural products, and Ronaldo Academy soccer schools.

Taco Bell has 7,000 stores worldwide, 6,500 of them in the United States. Every week, serves more than 40 million customers.
In its menu are tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas, for example.
