The US stock market retreated on Tuesday, pressured by falling technology roles and discretionary actions of consumption after weak results from Netflix.
At 11:51 (GMT), the Dow Jones index fell 0.02 percent to 18,528 points, the S & P 500 was down 0.24 percent at 2,161 points, while the Nasdaq technology index lost 0, 33 percent at 5,038 points.
Also weighed on confidence the decision of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to cut global growth forecast for the next two years due to the uncertainty with the decision of the UK to leave the European Union.
Netflix fell 14.1 percent quarterly numbers of subscribers and their forecasts fall below estimates. The paper weighed on the Nasdaq and on the discretionary actions of consumption.
Microsoft, which releases its results after the market close, fell 0.85 percent, weighing on technology shares.
