London stock market hits record thanks to the weakness of the pound

The London Stock Exchange reached its record high on Tuesday thanks to the good performance of the stock of British exporting firms due to the weakness of the pound, dragged by the fear of a radical Brexit.

By midmorning, the main FTSE 100 index reached 7128.34 points, surpassing the previous record, which was dated April 27, 2015.
